fallen for consideration in the
present writ petition is whether a stepson of a police personnel
of Kolkata Police is entitled to compassionate appointment ... state government employee,
the word 'son' would include a stepson. In support of such
contention, he has drawn the attention of the court
consideration are whether a stepfather is entitled to get
maintenance from his stepson and whether a mother after her remarriage
is entitled to be maintained ... whether a stepmother is entitled to get
maintenance from her stepson, the Supreme Court in the judgment
reported at (1996) 4 SCC 479 ( Kirtikant
rights and contentions of the
petitioner against her ex-husband and a stepson, who has been
gifted the property in a Co-operative Housing Society ... property, which
admittedly has been gifted by her ex-husband to her stepson. The
wife has challenged the allegedly clandestine gift of the said
submitted on behalf of the appellant that he is the stepson of the victim and an
application being CRAN 3636 of 2016 has been filed ... stab injury on her abdomen which had been caused by her stepson.
The victim stated before him that the incident took place in her house
formally intimate the authorities
concerned for providing a job to the stepson on
compassionate ground in compliance with our earlier
order.
The learned Advocate representing ... stepmother has no objection if a job is provided to
the stepson on compassionate ground.
In view of the aforesaid decision of the
stepmother
officer,

(iii) sons including stepsons,
(iv) unmarried and widowed daughters (including
stepdaughters),
(v) brothers below ... Family Pension. Whereas for the payment of
Death Gratuity sons including stepsons are entitled to same, only the
minor sons including adopted sons are entitled
ruled out. Hence, conviction of stepmother for
killing her two stepsons was set aside. In the instant case, no evidence is
forthcoming that any outsider

widow or his legal children(which includes the stepson/daughter
