crushing units were ordered to be closed temporarily.
Petitioner came ... noted that large number of stone crushers are running their
stone crushing units in areas like river bed/choes or in the catchment areas
group belongs to those
who were forced to close down their stone crushing units in
compliance to the order dated 15.05.1992 passed ... notification laid down the procedure for establishment
and operation of the stone crushing units in the identified zones.
Paragraphs 1 to 2.2 thereof being relevant
cases of the following stone crushing units are placed
before the committee for final decision."
To decline prayer made by the petitioners ... stone crushers. To say that illegal mining will be encouraged is no ground to stop
setting up of the stone crushing units. The State
Haryana has been declared to be stone crushing zone and any person desirous of installing a stone crushing unit can instat the same after obtaining ... conditions for the grant of stone crushing license and were allegedly being operated unauthorisedly whereas the Stone Crushing Units of the answering respondents were being
impugned notification has
been made only to help those stone crushing units which are lying closed
since 2012 in order to give them ... existing stone crushers located in the
notified approved crushing zones which is discriminatory and arbitrary, as

stone crushing units in terms of Clause 13 of the Punjab Crusher Policy ... they are not
being allowed renewal of the registration of their stone
crushing unit(s) through the online registration facility/portal
system as per Clause

1. By this common ... that the plaintiff-respondent No. 1 has been running a stone crushing unit in Naurangpur crushing Zone - an approved crushing Zone by the State
houses who may set up their own
processing units/crushers, thereby adversely impacting the existing
stone crushing industries, were duly considered and requisite
Civil Writ ... certain percentage, of
their production of raw-material to local stone crushing units. An
enabling provision has already been made in the rules in this
Annexure P/2 by which the restrictions were imposed and stone crushers directed to be shifted away from the populated area and road sides ... mere mentioning of the fact that "the distance of the stone crushing units from the nearest dwelling should not be less than 250 meters
