respondent No.3 issued "stop payment" advice to the appellant bank. Even after receiving the stop payment advice, the appellant bank paid ... stop payment" advice i.e. the payment was made ignoring "stop payment" advice. Secondly, the appellant bank released the payment

double payment of the amount and also to confirm that no payment
against earlier Bank Draft ... duplicate Bank Draft

payment and as a result thereof the relevant demand draft was
cancelled. The revisionist subsequently, offered
agreed, the respondent
has kept ready the demand draft of Rs.10 lakhs dated
04.02.2019 for payment to the appellant.
Record shows that even ... appellant, however, as
the demand draft is prepared, payment of all the cheques
have been stopped. Copy of said demand draft drawn in
favour
withdrawn; and, after action
was taken to stop release of payment, the
Bank has issued a demand draft in favour of
the Bal Vikas Pariyojna
payment of cash for the purchase of land was as a
stop gap arrangement and subsequently payments would be made by
demand drafts ... Shri Sachin C. Gandhi, had also accepted the
payment of cash to be a stop gap arrangement and refundable on
receipt of the agreed amount
receipt of submission of this draft of Rs. 13.20 lacs nor the receipt of
the earlier draft of Rs. 6.50 lacs.
IX) Plaintiff ... hear this. Plaintiff immediately rushed to her bank to
stop payment of the aforesaid two drafts of Rs. 6.50 lacs and Rs. 13.20
lacs
