Traders, a sole
proprietorship firm dealing in trading of dried areca nuts (Supari) having its office at
Rupahihat in Nagaon district. On 02.09.2021, the petitioner ... police at Nonoi Petrol Post on mere suspicion that
illegal Burmese Supari was being carried by the said truck. The police seized the truck despite
however intercepted the vehicles and during search recovered 118 bags of
Burmese supari loaded in truck bearing registration no. AS-25-AC-5516 (10 wheeler ... truck)
and 200 bags of suspected Burmese supari loaded in the truck bearing registration no. AS-02-
E-5878(6 wheeler truck). When the drivers
threatened the Complainant
that the Accused persons have good privity
with supari killers and hired guns and at
various points in time they has made ... further informed the complainant that three
persons, who had accosted him were supari killers hired
by accused No.1 and accused No.2 came online
Petrol Pump at Sagunbahi and found 4055 kg of suspected Burmese
Suparis, concealed under crushed stones and the driver of the vehicle, Md. Mustafa failed ... document in respect of the aforesaid suspected Burmese Supari.
Mr. Mullah, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the registered owner
case of the prosecution that the
petitioner/accused procured pepper, supari etc. from
pepper and supari cultivated areas like Iritty, Irikkur,
Sreekandapuram, Kanhangad, Kasaragod ... transported
more than 1564 bags of pepper and 80 bags of Supari
procured from Kannur and Kasaragod area and evaded
payment of tax which
were stopped and on
being searched, 45 bags of suspected Burmese supari weighing 2100 Kgs and
20 bags of suspected Burmese Supari weighing ... they could not produce any valid
documents of the said suspected Burmese supari.
Mr. P.K. Munir, learned counsel for the accused/petitioner submits that
CC7913 were stopped and on being
searched, 45 bags of suspected Burmese supari weighing 2100 Kgs and 20 bags
of suspected Burmese Supari weighing ... answer nor could produce any legal documents of the said
suspected Burmese suparis.

Several goods, like- agarwood and bags of suspected Burmese supari
(betel nuts) were recovered from the truck/vehicle driven by the accused ... only a driver of the said vehicle
and one Saharul loaded said suparis and other articles in his vehicle and he was
directed to give
