By Circular dated June 15, 1993 in respect ... post of Lecturer :-
"Provided that candidates who have
submitted Ph. D thesis or passed
the M. Phil examination by 31st
December, 1993 are exempted
Penal Code, Section 153A(1), Scope of-Whether political
thesis or historical truth so presented be said to promote
feelings of enmity, hatred ... Communalisms"
is not even thinly veiled as a political thesis; it is an
undisguised attempt to promote feelings of enmity, hatred
and ill-will
direction tot he University to permit him to submit his
thesis in M.D. (Medicine) examination on the ground that he
was a teacher ... examination in M.D. as he did not such it

his thesis and did not produce a certificate of having
undergone satisfactory training
while acquiring the
postgraduate qualification. [232 A]
In the instant case, preparing thesis after graduation
for acquiring post graduate degree would not count towards
prescribed
selection they had put in
research work connected with their thesis and on the date of
selection, they had about 3 years' experience ... that the
research work of a candidate as evident either
from his thesis or from his published work is
of a very high standard
subject. The respondents possessed Ph.D. degree,
while the appellant's thesis was nearing completion.
On the basis of her experience, performance ... degree. Km. Neelima Misra does not possess a Ph. D.
degree. Her thesis is nearing 'completion. Her thesis work
alongwith her publication were scrutinised
stated in the
interview that he has started
writing his thesis and will be
completing his Ph.D. shortly. In
view of the above facts ... mentioned in the interview
that you are writing your Ph.D.
thesis and will be submitting it
shortly. You will be considered for
a permanent
exempted candidates who had acquired M. Phil or
submitted their Ph.D. thesis by 31.12.1993 from taking the NET.2
3. The 2000 UGCR were ... acquired M.Phil. by
31.03.1993 or had submitted their Ph.D. thesis by 31.12.2002 were exempted
