demolishing notice ... their testimony and to look for
necessary corroboration from the statement of TLO as well the tap
recorded conversation which has been somewhere referred/relied
Trap Laying Officer- PW.16 (in short as 'TLO'). Two independent
witnesses, namely one Balu [PW.3] and one Rethinasamy ... known as shadow witnesses were summoned by the
TLO and the TLO explained about the complaint given by PW.2, to

in proof of the prosecution case, however ... accepted bribe. However, the said fact
was denied by the respondent. The TLO got her subjected to
personal search through two Lady Officers

evidence in the form of the report ... Jain drew my attention to the testimony of Inspector Ramesh Kumar, TLO
(PW-9) and that of the shadow witness Ved Pal Singh
himself. The pretrap proceedings were conducted by
the trap laying officer (TLO) Inspector P.K. Srivastava/PW10,
