67. Punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form. -
Whoever publishes or transmits or causes to be published
transmitting of
material depicting children in sexually explicit etc., which
reads as follows:
Sec.67B - Punishment for publishing or transmitting of
material depicting children ... form - Whoever -
a) publishes or transmits or causes to be published or
transmitted material in any electronic or transmitted material
in any electronic form which
transmitting obscene material in
electronic form. – Whoever publishes or transmits or causes to be published
or transmitted in the electronic form, any material which ... transmitting of material depicting
children in seually explicit act, etc., in electronic form. – Whoever –
publishes or transmits or causes to be published or transmitted material
Section 67A of the Information Act clearly stipulates
punishment for publishing, transmitting obscene materials in electronic form.
There is additional protection granted under section ... which provides for punishment for
publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form
reads as follows:
"67. Punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene
material
transmitting of
material containing sexually explicit act, etc., in
electronic form.-
Whoever publishes or transmits or causes to be
published or transmitted in the electronic ... material depicting children in sexually explicit
act, etc., in electronic form.-
Whoever,-
(a) publishes or transmits or causes to be
published or transmitted material
transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act, etc.,
in electronic form. Section 67B provides for punishment for
publishing or transmitting of material depicting children ... material depicting children in seually explicit
act, etc., in electronic form. – Whoever –
(a) publishes or transmits or causes to be published
or transmitted material
punishable under Section 67
which provides the punishment for publishing or transmitting
obscene material in electronic form. The relevant Section
reads thus :-
