17. In the present case, it is the case of the prosecution

In this case, except the evidence of the trap team, no independent witness
were recorded. Since the prosecution has admitted
that it was a trap case, it was the bounden duty of the police
officials to note down ... trap the person/accused
concerned so that it could be easily identified on being
recovered from the trapped person. In the instant case,
