given, it is not possible to quantify the decrease in gross
profit
proof for coupons given to its staff and there was substantial
decrease in turnover also for the impugned assessment year when
compared to immediately preceding
2007
(b) The ratio of labour charges to total receipt is decreased to
52.99% from 58.88% compared to the preceding previous year.
(c) Regarding ... increase in gross profit ratio. However,
this is because of decrease in turnover (from
comparison with earlier assessment year, but
such decrease is mainly due to decrease in turnover of the appellant company.
The appellant has not proved that
instant case, the issue is with regard to the term “Total
turnover”.
6. The assessee is a manufacturer and exporter of stainless steel
utensils ... that if the total turnover increases, the
advantage which the assessee would get under Section 80HHC would
decrease because the amount deductible substantially depends upon
turnover is above Rs. 40 lakhs. But then it cannot be said that as and when the turnover increases, the net profit decreases
immediately preceding year. On a turnover of
more than 109 crores, this marginal decrease in my opinion is
insignificant and could be due to various ... then it
should also not be concerned with a minor decrease in the same
especially when, as in this case
only but not taken any order.
Our R.K. Traders had shown turnover about 1.76 lakhs we have also filed audit
report and statement ... Traders in which we have shown all the
turnover which was above 1.76 lakhs.
2.2 Decreased in Gross Profit ratio:
As per our trading account
shows that the turnover of the
company has increased by more than 10%
whereas expenses incurred under these heads has
decreased by more than ... these are revenue: expenses, then with the
increase in turnover the same should also
increase/decrease proportionately not
irrationally.
5.6 In view of the above
assessee in the
earlier years and whether the turnover has increased or decreased?
and what are the profits shown by persons in the same line
