24. Oath or affirmation on first appointment.
- Every Civil Police Officer on first appointment shall make and subscribe an oath or affirmation in the form set out in Schedule-I to this Act, before the appointing authority or such Gazetted Officers as the State Government may specify by general or special order in this behalf.
