Section 35(2) in The Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968
(2)The Vice-Chancellor shall be responsible for the creation of conditions conducive to maximum progress in the development of new information and technology in its natural physical and social sciences and their inclusion in the curricula and application in practice throughout the State.
