Section 1 in Karnataka Special Tax on Entry of Certain Goods Act, 2004
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Special Tax on Entry of Certain Goods Act, 2004.(2)It extends to the whole of the state of Karnataka.(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [The Act has come into force on 20th September 2004, vide Notification No. FD 133 CET 2004 dated 20-9-2004 (Karnataka Gazette Extraordinary No. 1033, Dated 20-9-2004.)] as the Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act.
