Section 24(1) in Sardar Patel University Act, 1955
(1)The University shall institute the Faculties of Arts, Science, [Engineering and Technology] [These words were substituted for the words 'Technology including Engineering' by Gujarat 8 of 1966, Section 16.], Commerce, Agriculture and such other Faculties as may be constituted by the Senate by Statutes from time to time. Each Faculty shall comprise such subjects as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
