(1)The University shall institute the Faculties of Arts, Science, [Engineering and Technology] [These words were substituted for the words 'Technology including Engineering' by Gujarat 8 of 1966, Section 16.], Commerce, Agriculture and such other Faculties as may be constituted by the Senate by Statutes from time to time. Each Faculty shall comprise such subjects as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(2)Each Faculty shall consist of -(a)members of the Boards of Studies for the Studies for the subjects comprised in the Faculty;(b)such Fellows as are assigned to that Faculty by the Senate.(3)The powers and duties of the Faculties and the conditions governing the terms of offices of their members shall be as prescribed by the Statutes.
