Section 64(2) in Andhra Pradesh Co-Operative Societies Act, 1964
(2)The Registrar may, of his own motion and after giving the society an opportunity of making its representation, if any, make an order directing the winding up of a society-(a)where it is a condition of the registration of the society that the society shall consist of at least ten members and the membership falls short of that number ; or(b)where the society has not commenced working within the prescribed period or has ceased to work ; or(c)[ where in the opinion of the Registrar the society is conducting its affairs in a manner detrimental to the interests of its members or the promotion of the object for which it has been registered.] [Added by Andhra Pradesh Act No. 10 of 1970.]
