Section 1 in Tamil Nadu Recognised Private Schools (Regulation) Act, 1973
1. Short title, extent, application and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Recognised Private Schools (Regulation) Act, 1973.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It applies to all private schools.(4)It shall come into force on such [date] [The Act came into force on the 1st day of December 1974.] as the Government may, by notification, appoint.
