Section 83(1) in Punjab Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Rules, 1973
(1)The Board, Committee, Labour Commissioner, Punjab the licensing officer of the Inspector or any other authority under the Act or these rules shall have powers to call for any information or statistics in relation to contract labour from any contractor or principal employer at any time by an order in writing.
