Section 1 in The Jammu and Kashmir Entertainments Duty Act, 1959
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Entertainments Duty Act, 1959.(2)It shall extend to the whole of the Jammu and kashmir State.(3)[ It shall come into force on such day as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint in this behalf.] [Unforced on 1st April, 1960 by Notification No. 6-E/60 dated 19th March, 1960.]
