Section 8(4) in Punjab Suppression of Immoral Traffic in Women and Girls Rules, 1960
(4)Women or girls found to be suffering from any venereal disease shall be kept, as far as possible, separate from the other inmates of the protective home. Women or girls suffering from minor ailments shall be treated by the Medical Officer of the protective home. If any women or girl is suffering from serious illness, she shall be taken to the nearest hospital for admission and a report shall be immediately sent to the nearest Magistrate. A copy of the report shall be simultaneously sent to the Chief Inspector.
