(1)All persons who are required to supervise the handing of hazardous substances shall possess the following qualifications and experience :-(a)(i)A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Technology with five years experience; or(ii)A Master's Degree in Chemistry or a Degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology with two years experience.The experience stipulated above shall be in process operation and maintenance in the Chemical Industry.(2)The syllabus and duration of the above training and the organisations conducting the training shall be approved by the Director General, Factory Advice Service and Labour Institute or the State Government in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Director General, Factory Advice Service and Labour Institute.
