Section 57(1) in The Calcutta Metropolitan Water And Sanitation Authority Act, 1966
(1)The Authority shall construct and maintain drains and sewers and provide a safe and sufficient outfall, in or outside the District, for effectual drainage and proper discharge of storm water and sewage of the District.
