Section 66 in Jharkhand Building Byelaws 2016

66. Petrol Pump.

- 66.1 Minimum distance from the road intersections shall be:A. For minor roads having less than 30 in. width - 50 m.B. For major roads having width 30 m. or more -100 m.
66.2The minimum distance of the property line of petrol pump from the centre line of the road shall not be less than 15 meters on roads having less than 30 m width. In case of roads having 30 m or more width, the width of the road shall be protected.
66.3Plot size:- A. Only for filling stations -30m x 20rnB. Filling-cum-service station 40 m x 30 mC. Frontage of the plot shall not be less than 30 m
66.4New petrol pump shall not be located on roads having less than 30 M width
66.5Every petrol pump shall have public toilets with W.C. separately for men and women.
66.6Other controls:-
66.6.1 Ground coverage - 20%
66.6.2 FAR - 1.0
66.6.3 Max Height - 7m
66.6.4 Canopy equivalent to permissible ground coveragewithin setback line,
66.6.5 Front set back - minimum 9 m
66.7Other regulations
66.7.1NOC from Explosives/Fire Service Department
66.7.2License from the District Magistrate
66.7.3Ground coverage will exclude canopy area
66.8Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) mother station
66.8.1Plot size (Max)- 36 m X 30 m
66.8.2Maximum ground coverage - 20%
66.8.3Maximum height-7m (single storey)
66.8.4Building component- control room/office/dispensary, store, pantry and W.C.
