Section 44(1) in Assam Elementary Education Act, 1962
(1)If the Attendance Authority is satisfied that a child due to economic or other circumstances connected with the family to which the child be-longs, is unable to attend an approved school in the manner required by or under this Act, it may permit the child to attend any institution imparting part lime elementary education.
