Section 144(3) in The Mizoram Autonomous District Council (Constitution and Conduct of Business of the District Councils) Rules, 1974
(3)The presiding officer shall close the polling station at the hour fixed in that behalf under Rule 14(1) so as to prevent the admission thereto of any other voter after that hour; provided that all voters admitted within the polling station before it is closed shall be entitled to have their votes recorded.
