Section 10 in Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University Act, 2019
10. Chancellor.
(1)The Governor of Punjab shall be the Chancellor of the University.(2)The Chancellor shall, by virtue of his office, be the Head of the University and shall, if present, preside over the Convocations of the University for conferring degrees and other ceremonial functions. The Chancellor may, if he feels appropriate, call the meeting of the Governing Body at any time and address it.
