Section 39(1) in The West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences Act, 1995
(1)The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, transfer such assets and liabilities including lands, buildings, books, equipments, laboratories and furniture belonging to the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences located at Belgachia in Calcutta and Mohanpur in the district of Nadia as may be considered necessary for the proper functioning of the University.
