Section 12(1) in The Tripura Courts Stenographers' Service Rules, 1983
(1)Vacancies in Joint Grade of the service shall be filled by direct recruitment on the basis of competitive examination to be conducted by the Departmental Promotion Committee as and when vacancy arises:Provided that reservation for the members of the Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes shall be made in accordance with such instructions as may be issued by the State Government from time to time.
