26. Governing Council to prepare annual report.
(1)The annual report of the University shall be prepared by the Governing Council and shall be placed before the Senate on or before such date as may be prescribed by the statutes and shall be considered by the Senate at its next annual meeting. The Senate may pass resolution thereon and communicate the same to the Governing Council.(2)The Governing Council shall inform at a subsequent meeting of the Senate the action taken by it on the resolution passed by the Senate.(3)A copy of the annual report and a copy of the resolution passed by the Senate together with information on the action taken under sub-section (2) shall be submitted to the Government by the Governing Council for information.
