Section 6(6) in Andhra Pradesh Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions of Engineering/Pharmacy Diploma holders into Under Graduate Professional courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2006
(6)Candidates shall be called for counselling and provisional allotment of Courses/Institutions shall be made in the order of merit assigned at ECET(FDH) by following the Rules of Reservation as per Rule 7 hereunder and G.O.Ms.No. 550, Higher Education Dept., dated 30-7-2001 wherever applicable and such allotment is only provisional:Provided that in respect of Minority Professional Institutions seats shall be allotted only to the eligible candidates belonging to the concerned Minority.
