Section 20A in The Bombay Weights and Measures Act, 1932
20A. [ Requiring persons, dealers, etc., to keep books, accounts and records. [This section was inserted by Bombay 56 of 1948, Section 7.]
(1)Every person using weights or measures or weighing or measuring instruments for trade shall maintain such records, and(2)Every dealer, repairer or manufacturer in any weights or measures or weighing or measuring instruments shall maintain such books, accounts and records, relating to weights or measures or weighing or measuring instruments and in such manner as may be prescribed and shall produce them for inspection in such manner as may be prescribed.]
