1. Short title, extent and commencement
(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Act, 1975.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.(3)This section shall come into force at once and the other provisions of this Act shall come into force on such dater [as the Government may by notification in the Government Gazette appoint] [Enforced with effect from 1.10.1975 vide SRO-474 dated 30.9.1975.].
