Section 22(1) in Govind Guru Tribal University at Banswara Act, 2012
(1)The Board shall be the highest executive body of the University and shall consist of the following members, namely :-(I)the Vice-Chancellor of the University- Chairman;(II)Ex-officio Members-(i)the Principal Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Finance Department;(ii)the Principal Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Higher Education Department;(iii)the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Tribal Area Development Department;(iv)the Commissioner, Tribal Area Development, Udaipur;(v)the Director, Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur;(vi)the Vice-Chancellor, Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur;(vii)the Pro-Vice-Chancellor; [***] [Deleted 'and' by Rajasthan Act No. 10 of 2016, dated 18.4.2016.](viii)the Registrar of the University, Member-Secretary; andExplanation. - Ex-officio members mentioned at (i) to (iii) shall include their respective nominees who shall not be below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan;(ix)[ the Director/Commissioner of college Education, Rajasthan;] [Added by Rajasthan Act No. 10 of 2016, dated 18.4.2016.](III)Nominated Members-(i)two persons nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from amongst the Deans for one year;(ii)two University Professors nominated by the Chancellor for one year;(iii)two eminent educationists to be nominated by the Chancellor for three years;(iv)two members of State Legislature to be nominated by the State Government for three years; [***] [Deleted 'and' by Rajasthan Act No. 10 of 2016, dated 18.4.2016.](v)two eminent educationists to be nominated by the State Government for three years; and(vi)[ two Principals of affiliated colleges, from the Government Colleges and another from Private colleges, to be nominated by the State Government for one year.] [Added by Rajasthan Act No. 10 of 2016, dated 18.4.2016.]
