5. Unauthorised construction, maintenance, etc., of aerial ropeways prohibited. - No aerial ropeway shall be constructed, opened, maintained or worked except in accordance with the provisions of this Act [and the rules made thereunder and in conformity with the provisions of the relevant code of practice of the Bureau of Indian Standard].
