Section 21(1) in The Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University Act, 2004
(1)The Director of Extension shall be a whole time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board. He shall be responsible for planning and execution of programmes of extension work based on the results of research work and shall perform such other functions as may be prescribed.
