Section 25(2) in The Rajasthan Civil Services (Commutation of Pension) Rules, 1981
(2)In case the medical authority directs that the applicant's age for the purpose of commutation shall be assumed to be greater than his actual age, the applicant may,(a)by giving notice in writing to the Head of Office withdraw his application within fourteen days from the date on which he receives the certified copy of Part III of Form 4 and endorse a copy of notice to the [Director, Pension Department] [Substituted vide F. D. Notification No. F. 1 (45) FD/Gr. 2/83, dated 17-1-1984 w.e.f. 1-12-1983.], or(b)request the Head of Office within the period specified in clause (a) under intimation to the [Director, Pension Department] [Substituted vide F. D. Notification No. F. 1 (45) FD/Gr. 2/83, dated 17-1-1984 w.e.f. 1-12-1983.] that he may be permitted to reduce the amount of pension already applied for commutation to an amount to be indicated by the applicant.
