Section 5(5) in The Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1998
(5)(a)to institute Professorships, Readerships, Lecturerships and any other academic or teaching posts required by the Vishwavidyalaya and to appoint persons to such posts in accordance with the provisions of this Act;(b)to appoint persons working in any other University or orgnisation as teachers of the Vishwavidyalaya for a specified period;
