(2)Sections 5 and 7 shall come into force on such [date] [15th January, 1977, vide notification No. G.S.R. 16(E), dated 15th January, 1977, see Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, sec. 3(i).] or on such different dates as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint; and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force at once.
