Section 14D(2) in Tamil Nadu Pawn Brokers Act, 1943
(2)At any time within three years after the public auction, any police officer not below the rank of Sub-Inspector may inspect the registers referred to in subsection (1) at all reasonable time and such place as may prescribed.
