(1)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (2), the application for licence under section i 6 for sale or storing shall be made to the Superintendent of Police or such other authority as may be appointed by the State Government and shall be accompanied by-(i)annual fee not exceeding rupees three hundred as may be prescribed; and(ii)a certificate from the Director that the place where the fire works are sold or stored for sale is fit for the purpose of such sale or storage and has adequate arrangements for fire fighting.
