Section 22(v) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(v)If a student gets re-appear he/she has the option to appear in the examination privately or as a regular student but when once he/she joins as a regular student, he/she shall, not be allowed to appear as a private candidate.(in)A candidate undergoing the A.M.E. course shall be allowed only one more chance to appear as a regular candidate to para I/II/III/IV /V semester as per specific requirement of the course :
