Section 1 in The International Monetary Fund and Bank Act, 1945
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This [Subs. by Act 25 of 1959, s. 2, for "Ordinance"; Act] may be called the InternationalMonetary Fund and Bank 1[Act], 1945.(2)It extends to [Subs. by the A.O. 1950, for "all the Provinces of India"][the whole of India; The words "except Part B States" omitted by Act 3 of 1951, s. 3 and the Sch].(3)It shall come into force at once.
