Section 20(2) in Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Act, 2005
(2)The aforesaid Director shall have the following duties, namely :-(a)to make arrangements for the housing of students;(b)to make programmes of students' counselling;(c)to arrange for the employment of students in accordance with the plans, approved by the Vice-Chancellor;(d)to supervise the extra-curricular activities of students;(e)to assist in the placement of graduates of the University; and(f)to organize and maintain contact with the Alumni of the University.
