Section 11 in The Orissa Boiler Operation Engineers' Rules, 2000
11. Function of the Board.
- The Board of Examiners shall-(i)conduct examination and practical test of candidates for grant of certificate of proficiency as First Class, Second Class and restricted certificate of proficiency as Boiler Operation Engineers;(ii)grant certificate of proficiency as a Boiler Operation Engineer;(iii)consider the reports of enquiries into allegations of drunkenness negligence of duty, misconduct on the part of Boiler Operation Engineers holding certificate of proficiency granted under these rules and take such action as they may consider necessary;(iv)have powers to appoint any person as a paper setter or examiner at any examination.
