Section 18(2) in The Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
(2)Any person, whether he is a member of the Council or not, may be appointed as a visitor under this section but a person who is appointed as an inspector under section 17 for any [inspection or examination] [[ Substituted by Act 24 of 1964, Section 9, for " examination" (w.e.f.16.6.1964).]] shall not be appointed as a visitor for the same [inspection or examination] [Substituted by Act 24 of 1964, Section 9, for " examination" (w.e.f. 16.6.1964). ].
