Section 15 in Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University Act, 2016
15. The Finance Officer.
(1)The Finance Officer shall be whole time officer of the University appointed by the Executive Council from out of a panel of three officers obtained from the Government and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed under this Act.(2)The Finance Officer shall maintain the accounts of the University and advice the University on all matters relating to income and expenditure.(3)The Finance Officer shall act as the Secretary of the Finance Committee and participate in the discussions thereof but shall not be entitled to vote.(4)The Finance Officer shall exercise such powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
