Section 4(1)(a) in The Assam Cattle Diseases Act, 1948

(a)be vaccinated against such contagious diseases, as may be notified in this behalf unless the veterinary officer of the station is satisfied that they have been vaccinated against such disease within 8 months immediately preceding their arrival or within such longer periods so preceding as may be prescribed ; and
