Section 1 in Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority Act, 2018
1. Short title, commencement and application.
(1)This Act may be called the Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority Act, 2018.(2)It shall come into force on such date, as the Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act.(3)It applies to all ponds in the State but shall not apply to a pond-(i)having an area of less than 0.5 acres;(ii)located in an area notified as forest; and(iii)located on private land.
