Section 9 in Arunachal Pradesh University of Studies Act, 2012
9. University for all classes, castes, creed, religion, region, languages and gender and provisions for the students of Arunachal Pradesh.
(1)The University shall be open to all irrespective of class, caste, creed, religion, region, language or gender;(2)The University shall ensure that the academic standards of the courses offered by the University are in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and other statutory bodies as the case may be.(3)The appointment, qualification and emoluments and teacher- student ratio shall be as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and specific councils.Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the University from making special provisions for admissions to students of the State and socially and economically weaker section of the society, especially for the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
