6. Constitution of the Committee.
(1)The Committee shall consist of-(a)the Collector of Satna District or if and so long as the Collector is not eligible for membership under sub-section (3), an Additional Collector or a Deputy Collector nominated by the Collector;(b)Four officers to be nominated by the Collector, Satna;(c)President, Janpad Panchayat Maihar and Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Arkandi, Block Maihar;(d)One Pujari to be nominated by the State Government;(e)Four non-officials, one of whom shall be a person having a special knowledge of Hindu religion, rites and custom relating to the form of worship practised in the Mandir, to be nominated by the State Government.(2)The Collector or the person nominated under clause (a) of sub-section (1) shall be the Chairman of the Committee.(3)No person who does not profess Hindu religion and does not accept the form of worship practised in the Mandir shall be eligible for membership of the Committee.(4)The nomination of the members shall be notified in such manner as may prescribed.
