Section 3 in The Punjab Tobacco Vend Fees (Repealing) Act, 1953
3. Repeal of President's Act. No. VI of 1952.
- The Punjab Tobacco Vend Fees (Repealing) Act, 1952 (President's Act VI of 1952) is hereby repealed but notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken in the exercise of any power conferred by or under the repealed Act shall deemed to have been done or taken in exercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act, so far as consistent with the provisions of this Act, as if this Act had been in force on that date and all the provisions of this Act shall apply accordingly.
